It is an early example of agriculture and is situated near the Boğazçay and Bestakot rivers. Excavated for 16 seasons between 1964 and 1991, the site covers the periods of Pre-Pottery Neolithic A, Pre-Pottery Neolithic B, and Pottery Neolithic. It is a fascinating historical site that offers insight into the early agricultural practices of the region.
